When trying to add a contact to your pitch within Prezly, sometimes you might run into a bump of your contacts not being available. This can occur for a few reasons.

The contact does not have an email

If the contact does not have an email address for us to send to, we will make the contact as "Unavailable - Contact without email". You can easily solve this by editing your contact and adding an email address.

The contact has unsubscribed

If the contact has unsubscribed from your Newsroom or from all communications. When this happens we will no longer allow you to send the person email from the said newsroom, or in the case of the person unsubscribing from all of your communications - we will no longer allow you to send any emails. You can learn more about subscriptions here.

We were previously unable to deliver emails

If our previously emails have "bounced", meaning we were not able to successfully deliver them because we detected that the email no longer exists, are blocking emails etc. We will no longer allow sending emails to that address. You can fix this by updating the email for the contact. You can learn more about bounced emails here.
