We strive to keep our app functioning on the latest, and sometimes not-so-greatest, versions of the most widely-used desktop browsers.

Our newsrooms are held to a different set of standards and are built to handle the varied and wild world of your customer's internet experience.

End of support for Internet Explorer

In 2015 Microsoft released Edge as the browser to supersede Internet Explorer (IE). Since then IE has not received major updates, or added support for many modern web standards. Microsoft recently discouraged the use of Internet Explorer as a default browser, and we've also seen a decrease in Internet Explorer usage among Prezly users.

To allow us to continue to take advantage of modern web standards to deliver improved functionality and the best possible user experience, we have decided to end support for Internet Explorer 11.

What does end of support for IE mean?

End of support means we will not fix bugs in the Prezly web application (rock.prezly.com) that are specific to IE, and will begin to introduce features that aren't compatible with this browser.

Though we still plan to support visitors using IE on Prezly-powered newsrooms.

When is this happening?

The support will end on 1 March 2020.

Please switch to one of the modern browsers (see the list of supported browsers above). If you don't have such option, please get in touch with Prezly Support Team.
